Medication Technician Training Program in Maryland

Are you aspiring to be a Medication Technician? Are you looking to renew your certification? We offer the Maryland Board of Nursing approved Medication Technician training. Upon completion of the 20 hour course, you will be licensed to perform the delegated nursing functions of medication administration in community based settings under the supervision of a registered nurse.

We also offer a 4 hour renewal course for current Medication Technician without an expired license. You maybe eligible to renew your Medication Technician within 30 days of the license expiring. If your license has expired for more than 30 days, you will be required to take the full 20 hour courses.

What happens after I complete the Medication Technician course?

Upon completion of 20 hour class, that include clinical returns, Candidates are awarded a certificate completion of 20 hours Med Tech training which they can use for up to 6 months while you wait for the Board of Nursing to Process your official CMT certification. We assist with job placement but not guaranteed.

How do I sign up?

Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am – 4pm in Rockville Maryland. A $50 non-refundable deposit is require to book your slot. The cost of tuition provided below includes the material and the fee for the application. Schedule in groups of 5 or more to receive special prices, additional location options and customized schedules.

Initial: $250 (Tuition, Supplies & Application Fee)

Renewal: $150 (Tuition, Supplies & Application Fee)

Expired Renewal: $250 (Tuition, Supplies & Application Fee)
